Bondrenko Konstantin Petrovich
(pen name Kost’ Bondarenko).
Konstantin Bondarenko was born on the 2 of May, 1969 in Vinnitca region in the professor’s family. He graduated from the secondary school as a gold medalist. He served the compulsory military service in the ranks of the Soviet army at Turkistan military district (strategic aviation).
In 1994, Konstantin Bondarenko has graduated a Historic Faculty of Lvov National University named after Ivan Franko. He is an expert in international relations history. The topic of his graduation work is “German policy towards Ukraine during the Second World War”.
After graduation from the University Konstantin Bondarenko was staying at professor and scientific work. He took part in various journalistic and socio-cultural projects. He was a head of the policy department in a much populated newspaper “Postup”. He participated in the establishment of Political Research Center “Nova Hvilya” in Lvov city. In March, 1997 he defended a dissertation and has got the academic degree of Doctor of Historical Science.
At different periods of his lifetime Mr. Bondarenko took part as a consultant-analyst in various political projects, such as: National-Democratic party, People’s Block of Lytvyn, The Party of Reforms and Order, the Party “PORA” and others. He was a member of social councils under the President, the Speaker of Ukrainian Parliament and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
As a journalist Konstantin Bondarenko cooperates with newspapers such as “Zerkalo Nedeli”, “The Facts”, “Kiev’s Telegraph”, and also with internet publications “Ukrayinska Pravda”, “Observer” and others. He was an author and an onscreen moderator of “Public Radio”. He is an author of more than 2000 articles in periodicals and more than 50 scientific works.
A widower, upbringing two children. Hobbies: sky surfing, aikido and cuisine of nations. |
